Changing the future one child at a time

The Legacy Child Enrichment Center was formerly known as the Grey Stone Learning Center (CLC). It was established in 1943 and is the longest continually running child care center in the state of North Carolina. The CLC operated out of an old, white mill house for over sixty years. The small house allowed the center to operate with about sixty children ages two to five. In February of 2013 the CLC expanded into a state-of-the-art facility that is licensed to have approximately 120 children ages 6 weeks to 5 year. We may have a new building and a new name, but our dedication to serving the Durham community with superior childcare has not changed.
